Eye Fashion Factory was founded in 1984 by Robert Dobynes Sr. and his wife, Sandra, at its longtime location at 5800 Natural Bridge Road. Proud graduates of St. Louis Public Schools, they built the business on a commitment to quality care and service to the community.

For more than 40 years, Eye Fashion Factory has provided full-service vision care, including comprehensive eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. The practice features an in-house optometrist who treats cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye-related conditions, as well as a modern optical lab where eyeglasses are cut, ground, and polished on-site.

As of January 2026, the business is now owned and operated by their son, Robert Dobynes Jr., continuing the family legacy of trusted, high-quality vision care for the St. Louis region.
